The Director of Music will be happy to choose any or all of the music, if you so desire. Please assist in that process by indicating if you would like more traditional songs and/or contemporary songs.

The use of secular music (music not written for use in a sacred liturgy) is not permitted. All music must be suited for the Mass -- the highest form of prayer the church offers. If you have any questions, the Director of Music, Mr. David McGhee, will be most happy to help you with your selections. He can be reached through the Music Office at 407-322-7003.

Spanish Funeral Liturgies: There are numerous Spanish songs that can be used. When using Spanish music, the following can be considered:

              • Selected portions of the Mass (i.e., Responsorial Psalm, Communion Song, Eucharistic Acclamations)
              • Bilingual selections (combination of English and Spanish texts for any of the selected portions.)

Special Notation: In keeping with musical and liturgical guidelines set by the Diocese of Orlando, the usage of pre-recorded tapes or CDs is not permitted whether for music before the Mass, or to accompany any vocalist.
